Welcome Visitor!

Get Involved

Our seven U.U. Principles are the backbone of our faith. By incorporating them into your daily life, you are supporting equality, personal growth, compassion, environmentalism, and liberal religion.

Our mission highlights three powerful words: Grow, Care and Act.

Here is how you can get involved:

1.  Learn more about First U.U. Richmond – who we are, what we stand for & what we believe.

2. Watch a video about the Unitarian Universalist faith.

3.  Join us for Sunday Service.

1. Read First News Weekly to stay informed about what is happening in our community.

2. Check the First U.U. calendar to attend an event or visit with one of our groups.

3. Participate in one of our Religious Education (RE) classes.

1. Do your part in your community – Check on your elderly neighbor, show compassion for someone who is suffering, and celebrate achievements and triumphs of others!

2. Volunteer with us at events such as Gallery, or with a program such as First U.U.’s contributions at Greene Elementary School.

3. Learn about the Unitarian Universalist Association’s Standing on the Side of Love campaign, an advocacy campaign that seeks to harness love’s power to stop oppression.
