The UU Singers are people who love to sing – and judging from the congregation’s reaction to them, that love is infectious. The Singers are not only imaginative in the variety of styles they present but also dedicated to diverse cultural and religious traditions as they enhance and support First Unitarian Universalist’s Sunday morning worship.
The Singers rehearse once a week beginning in September — on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 until 9. They sing at least once a month and prepare two pieces for each service. New members are welcome to join at any time during the year.
Surprisingly, given the professional result, required credentials include loving to sing and being able to carry a tune. Members’ musical experience ranges from not being able to read music to professional music careers.
